Types of scams to look out for
- Emails offering free directory listings.
- Emails selling data claiming to be from Seatrade Cruise Global 2025 or our partners.
- Offers for services like hotel bookings not from OnPeak.
- Requests for updated banking details via phone or email.
- Social media messages asking for favours or impersonating show team members.
How to stay safe
- Check the sender's email (usually Seatrade Cruise Global), it could be from a member of the show team.
- Verify if the content aligns with Seatrade Cruise Global’s usual style.
- Confirm if the individual/company is an official partner in the online manual.
- Assess the language for any unusual clumsiness or deviation from Seatrade Cruise Global's standard tone.

What to do if you think you are being scammed?
- Do not reply to the email or click on any links
- If you're being called, end the conversation as soon as you become suspicious
- Let us know at [email protected] if you are visiting us, if you are exhibiting contact [email protected] - we'll confirm if the communications are a scam
WARNING: AVOID Expo Guide, ExpoFairs, FairGuide.com, Construct Data Verlag & Inside Data View.
DO NOT sign any forms from them. They target companies globally through exhibition guides and data selling. Expo Guide claims to offer online listing services but tricks exhibitors into non-retractable three-year contracts with no benefits. Beware of debt collection agencies like Gravis Inkasso Gmbh and Premium Recovery AG (Construct Data subsidiary) working with them. They have no connection to our events. Stay vigilant against such organisations as they use deceptive tactics on a large scale.
