SEATRADE CRUISE MED POSTPONED UNTIL 2022
After close consultation with our industry partners, customers, and the cruise community around the world, we’ve made the decision to postpone Seatrade Cruise Med 2020 in Málaga, Spain until September 2022.
We want to thank all our customers, partners & associations, including our host city of Málaga, Spain and cruise line representatives for their insights, open discussions and encouragement. We continue to be humbled by your support to create a forum for our community and are proud to announce that we will be hosting a virtual experience for the worldwide cruise
industry this autumn.
Seatrade Cruise Virtual, taking place 5 - 8 October 2020, will provide a digital forum for suppliers, cruise lines, and members of the cruise community to find partners, network with peers both new and known, and hear insights from top industry players.
This virtual experience will include all the key elements our customers have come to expect from a physical event in a new digital format that will include:
- Sourcing Solutions & Finding Partners: Research suppliers’ newest products and services at the virtual tradeshow.
- Networking & Matchmaking: Connect with members of the cruise community through the custom matchmaking platform or at one of the digital receptions.
- Education & Conference Sessions: Hear top leaders’ thoughts about the future of cruise across multiple regions and demographics over the four-day lineup.
- Innovation & Trend Forecasting: Join the live stream of the Seatrade Cruise Awards programme or one of the product showcases.
If you are interested in learning about exhibiting at the virtual tradeshow, please contact Victoria Philpot. Registration for the event will open in September.

OFFICIAL STATEMENT RE: SEATRADE CRUISE MED THIS SEPTEMBER
We appreciate your continued support of Seatrade Cruise Med, and we hope you are staying healthy and well at this time.
Over the last several weeks, we have had many conversations with our customers, partners & associations, including our host city of Málaga, Spain and cruise line representatives, to understand how to best serve our community at this time. As a result of those conversations and the continued uncertainty around COVID-19, we have made the decision not to hold Seatrade Cruise Med this September. We are assessing options including a postponed date later this year, or a virtual event.
We continue to hear comments about the global cruising industry needing a platform to network, learn, and do business. We want you to know that this is what guides us most. We welcome your thoughts and views on these options as we continue to develop alternate solutions to deliver networking, sourcing and educational opportunities, which we hope to provide in the coming weeks.
We will also be posting updates on this page.
We will be sending another update before the end of June as we confirm details on how we can best serve our community, but wanted to proactively share this information at this time, as I know many of you are already beginning to plan logistics for our September event.
We thank you for your continued support as we navigate these uncharted territories, and look forward to connecting with you soon.
