Neil has worked in the cruise industry for over ten years and was part of the original team that set-up the Island Cruises UK brand which formed part of the joint venture with RCI/First Choice Holidays.
Neil’s career since 2000 has predominantly been in senior yield and revenue management roles with First Choice, Island Cruises and his current employer TUI UK – Marella Cruises. In these positions he was responsible for maximising ticket sales profitability and passenger occupancy. Key achievements included delivering a suite of new yield tools for a fledgling cruise line and consistent load factor and revenue growth for the UK business.
For the past four years Neil has been General Manager of Product, Planning and Marketing. The role reported directly to the managing director and the remit was to maximise coverage of the cruise brand and optimise itinerary plans in terms of revenue and marketing opportunity.
Key achievements included the introduction of Thomson Cruises first UK solus media campaign, launch of TUI Discovery and redeployment of their fleet incorporating a number of brand new homeports across the Med, Northern Europe, Middle East, Central America and the Caribbean.
He has recently taken-up the combined planning and revenue management GM role which will continue to give him focus on itinerary planning as well as the yield side of the business.
Neil is a graduate of Leeds University, UK, and now resides in South-East England with his wife Sue and two children Jack and Tom.
