Wusongkou International Cruise Terminal & Shanghai Museum of Glass

11:00 - 17:00 | Fam Trip Option 1

A chance to see the new facilities at Wusongkou International Cruise Terminal which opened a new passenger terminal in 2018.

Wusongkou is situated in the northern part of Shanghai, at the confluence of Huangpu River and Yangtze River. It is one of the most advanced passenger terminals in the world, and will make Shanghai the first Chinese mainland city with berths for large international cruises. The cruise terminal has a four-storey building for cruise ticketing, waiting and customs (with immigration procedures taking only 48 seconds), and other facilities spread over 300,000m2, including shopping streets, hotels, office buildings, apartments and art centres.

Over the past 6 years, Shanghai has been through a massive transformation from its industrial age to today. The Shanghai Museum of Glass maintains the basic structure of the site’s existing factory, expressing its original details and creating a highly artistic and interactive space. To highlight the building’s previous function as a glass factory, there are several feature areas, including the Kaleidoscope Entrance, Corridor of History, House of Glass and the Jewellery Box.

The Shanghai Museum of Glass presents the integration of glass art and design that closes the gaps in time, space, culture and language.

Lunch will be included in the tour
