Seatrade Cruise Asia 2016 will be held at the Busan International Passenger Terminal in Busan, Korea.
Busan, a bustling city of approximately 3.6 million residents, is located on the southeastern tip of the Korean peninsula. The size of Busan is 765.64 km2 which is 0.8 % of the whole land of the Korean Peninsula. The natural environment of Busan is a perfect example of harmony between mountains, rivers and sea. Its geography includes a coastline with superb beaches and scenic cliffs, mountains which provide excellent hiking and extraordinary views, and hot springs scattered throughout the city. Busan is the second largest city in Korea. Its deep harbor and gentle tides have allowed it to grow into the largest container handling port in the country and the fifth largest in the world. In the coming years, capacity is set to grow further with the opening of the New Port. The city's natural endowments and rich history have resulted in Busan's increasing reputation as a world class city of tourism and culture, and it is also becoming renowned as an international convention destination.
Getting there/around Busan
Busan's local public transportation system provides prompt and efficient metro, bus and taxi services all around the city. The City has created a high-tech transportation system and an advanced transportation culture.

There are plenty of bus, subway and rail transfer options from the airport to the city.
Light rail: Busan Metro's (tel: (055) 310 9800; en.bngmetro.co.kr) light rail line (which connects to the Metro's Line 2) links the airport to the city centre (journey time: 20 minutes; fare: KRW1,500)
There are frequent public buses linking to various destinations in and around Busan (journey time: 30-60 minutes). Bus number 9 leaves directly from the airport terminal to West Busan.
Express buses serve Ulsan, Masan, Gyeognju, Pohang, Yangsan and Jinhae.
Ujin Airport Bus ‘limousine bus' services run to a number of destinations, including Haeundae and Busan Stations via major hotels.
Luxury and standard taxis are readily available from ranks outside the terminals. The fare into the city starts from KRW30,000, and the journey time is about 30 minutes, depending on traffic.
